Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is the operation to correct anatomical and/or asthetic defects on the eyelids.

It is a very frequently performed cosmetic operation. Although changes around the eyes are often taken as a sign of precocious ageing, baggy eyelids are not uncommon in younger patients. The most frequente procedure performed would be the correction of blepharocahalasis (skin excess) and  excision of orbital fat pad excess and or correction of it’s malposition/ herniation. The goal is to achieve a natural result with a smooth transition of the lid-cheek junction.
